Each fabric within the Zone3 Lava Trisuit has been carefully chosen and positioned to improve performance, comfort and endurance, especially the Aeroforce Soft-Touch, Sensory and Aquaflo materials that work together to promote incredible performance-boosting benefits.

Aeroforce Soft-Touch, Zone3’s trademarked fabric, is a revolutionary fabric from France used on the front and back panels. It’s extremely comfortable against the skin but remains technically advanced and extremely breathable, sweat-wicking, lightweight, quick-drying and whilst also providing a high level of UPF protection. The high-tech water repellent coating ensures drag resistance is kept to a minimum whilst in and out of the water.

The sensory fabric helps to mimic the Aeroforce Soft-Touch fabric by remaining extremely smooth and soft. It also benefits from a reflective coating to help minimise heat absorption from the sun and helps keep you seen on dimly lit days. Aquaflo fabric is also used for extra support and compression on the front legs.

Cytech’s brand new Iron Performance pad adds to this product’s incredible comfort and performance. Its perforated pad lamination delivers superior breathability and quick-drying capabilities, whilst the high-density foam gives more padding and protection when cycling and the central channelling in the perinea area are designed to offset pressure points.

Nutrition storage on the side of the legs and large pockets on the back allows you to stock up on gels and bars. Silicone grippers add to the comfort, preventing any movement of material when in the cycling or running section, which also stops the pad from moving about and reduces any irritation.

With an optical white colour at the base, protection from the sun isn’t anything to worry about. Reflecting the sun’s heat helps control your body temperature and the comfortable fit design with slightly wider-shoulder panels helps, too.

Elastic technology helps ensure a snug fit without any extra compression, and new stylish flat locked stitching lifts the seams away from the skin contact points, which helps with the overall strength of the product. The front semi-auto lock zipper provides extra versatility on hot days and a ‘fold over’ flap between the zip and skin minimises any discomfort from the zip on the chest.
